Position / Title: Web Application Developer (Contract to Hire)
Working within an established development environment, the Web Application Developer will be primarily responsible for the development of project specifications and requirements, coding, testing, debugging and maintaining detailed documentation of the web applications during the development process. The Application Developer will work closely with other team members, including graphic designers and Management, to achieve each and every project goal.
- Programming large and small scale web applications, web sites and online commerce
- Ability to deliver rapid turnaround times, while meeting the needs of the customer, and our internal standards of development.
- Database Design & Development
- Maintain Detailed Development Documentation
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in Web Application Development
with PHP, XML, ColdFusion, JavaScript, Curl, Data Encryption.
- SQL Programming; multi-tiered application design and development
- Familiarity with the *nix environment and Apache Web Server Configuration
- Familiarity with Windows Server, COM Objects and IIS Configuration
- Experience with e-Commerce Development and best security practices
- Ability to work in an unusually dynamic, fun and fast-paced environment
- Strong time management, communicative, and interpersonal skills
Bonus (not required):
- Experience with Macromedia Flash ActionScipt
- Experience with Macromedia
Flash Media Server and Streaming Technologies
- .NET Development Experience
- Cellular Phone / PDA Application Development
